I had a theoretical understanding of the aspects of acupuncture, but never a practical one. I took the treatment to initially address arthritis pain in my thumb and shoulder, and ended up treating my stress, acid reflux, and water retention with remarkable results. I have had no pain in my shoulder since the treatments and I've had significant reduction in pain in my thumb. The edema results have been dramatic. This has convinced me that acupuncture is a viable additional treatment for pain and one that I intend on continuing. Stéphane is a patient and caring practitioner, and very professional. I had never had an acupuncture treatment. I came with pain in the joints on my feet, where the big toe connects to the rest of the foot. I had planned a strenuous hike and was worried that I wouldn't be able to do it. However, I then had two treatments by Stéphane, and much to my delight, I was able to take the hike without any pain. I even noticed I slept better after these treatments. I highly recommend Stéphane. He was very gentle and professional, and he explained what he was going to do. My visits for acupuncture treatment with Stéphane were very beneficial! We discussed my specific problem areas at each visit and he decided on the plan for placement of the needles and explained why these particular points were chosen. I gained a little more understanding of how the body works. My first visit focused on back pain in the mid back and lower back areas. When I left my treatment much of the pain was relieved, and the next day even more improvement. On my second visit we focused on my right shoulder and neck, and points to strengthen the lower back. After treatment I felt wonderful, still a little hint of pain, but so much relief. That night I had my best night's sleep, so much pain was gone! Marilyn J.
I did a series of sessions and had a very pleasant experience. Stéphane was very friendly, professional, and concerned about my well-being. Acupuncture was about the only thing left to try for the pain in my hips. I have had 3 surgeries, numerous injections and ongoing physical therapy. I was skeptical in the beginning but after 3 sessions the pain has been reduced by more than half, for which I am eternally thankful! for it has helped reduce my grouchy moods. Having had a painful and swollen foot for 8 weeks I wanted to see if Stéphane could help. He explained how the treatment could help. He was comforting and patient with all my questions. This was a totally different experience to prior acupuncture I have had. Stéphane was thorough, thoughtful and knowledgeable. After 3 treatments the pain has gone, the swelling is greatly improved and I can wear sandals instead of a medical foot support! This was my first experience with acupuncture. I have had issues with arthritis in my shoulder, and inner ear problems such as tinnitus. I found the experience to be quite soothing. I wasn't sure what to expect with the needles, but was pleasantly surprised by the sensation. Very relaxing. Might be too soon to see significant results. So far, the shoulder has responded well and the inner ear discomfort has lessened. Ken T.

I was not too well acquainted with acupuncture prior to my series of treatments with Stéphane but the results were very impressive. His expertise completely removed the pain in my knees and greatly relieved the chronic chest and intestinal pain I had been suffering. During the treatments several amazing things occurred to include meditative state, seeing colours with patterns and alternate tingling and warmth sensations.
